Columbus homes, cleaned by people who live here.

Columbus proper is not one housing market, it is a dozen. A German Village brick double built in 1890 has nothing in common with a Northland ranch or a high-rise condo off High Street, and pretending one cleaning approach fits all of them is how you end up with a bad visit.

We clean across the city, and we price by the size of your home rather than by which neighborhood it sits in. What changes between them is the approach, not the rate card.

The housing stock

What cleaning a Columbus house actually involves

The city core runs old.

German Village and Italian Village are full of 19th-century brick with original plank floors, deep window wells, and radiators that collect dust in places a vacuum will not reach. Clintonville is largely 1920s and 1930s bungalows and four-squares with plaster walls and built-in cabinetry.

Head north and east and the stock flips to postwar ranches and split-levels with more square footage and less trim. Downtown and the Short North add loft conversions and newer condos where the challenge is hard water on glass rather than dust in millwork.

Questions

What Columbus households ask us.

Do you clean the older homes in German Village and Olde Towne East?

Yes, and they are some of our favorite work. We use pH-neutral products on original wood floors and we do not put anything wet on unsealed plaster. Tell us if your home has known-fragile finishes and we will plan around them.

Can you park at my home downtown or in the Short North?

Parking is the real constraint in those neighborhoods, not the cleaning. If you have a permit spot, an alley, or a garage space, tell us when you book. If not, we build extra time in rather than showing up rushed.

Do you handle campus-area rentals near OSU?

We do, including turnovers between tenants. August is the busiest week of the year in that part of the city, so book as far ahead as you can manage.
