Wren

About

We started Wren because the alternative was frustrating.

Every cleaning company in Columbus says the same four things. Almost none of them will tell you what a clean costs before someone comes to your house, and almost none will send you the same person twice. We thought both of those were fixable.

Prices you can read before you call

Our entire rate card is on the pricing page. Not a range, not "call for a quote", not an in-home sales visit that ends in a number nobody can explain. You should be able to work out what your home costs in about a minute, at eleven at night, without talking to us.

The same person, every visit

Franchises send whoever is available. That is efficient for them and worse for you — every visit starts over, and nobody ever learns that the guest bath gets used twice a year or which cabinet sticks. We match you with one cleaner and keep it that way.

How the work actually gets done

Wren works with vetted independent cleaners across the Columbus metro. We handle the scheduling, the pricing, the standards, and the follow-up — and if something is not right, you deal with us, not with a contractor. That is common in this industry. Most companies just do not say so.

What "vetted" means, step by step ↓

Who comes to your door

Who is coming into your home, and how they got there.

You are giving someone a key. You should know how they were chosen and what you will be told before they arrive — in that order, and before you fill in anything.

The message you get before the first visitSubject: Meet your cleaner

Hi [your first name],

[Cleaner's first name] will be cleaning your home on [date], arriving between [two-hour window].

They have been cleaning homes professionally for [how long], they usually work around [your suburb], and they bring everything with them — you do not need to leave supplies out.

Here is why we matched them to you: [one or two honest sentences].

If you would rather we matched you with someone else, reply and say so. You do not need a reason, and nothing has been charged.

[one of us], Wren Home Cleaning

That is the whole message. No profile to browse, no rating out of five, no photo we would have had to stage.

And if you do not click with them.

  • Before the first visit

Reply to the introduction and say no. We match you again or we tell you we cannot. Nothing has been charged and nothing has been booked into your home.

  • After the first visit

Tell us and the next visit is someone else. You pay for the clean you had. There is no fee for changing, and you do not have to explain why.

  • If we cannot match you well

We will say so. If the right person for your home and your schedule is not on our list, we would rather tell you that than send someone who will not last past March.

  • If you want to stop entirely

Stop. There is no contract, no notice period, and no cancellation fee. There is nothing to cancel.

Our guarantee

If a room is not right, we come back and re-clean it. No charge, no argument.

In effect since August 2026 · also written into our terms of service

What counts
Anything on the published checklist for the service you booked. If a surface on that list was missed, done badly, or left worse, it counts. You do not have to argue that it counts.
The window
Twenty-four hours from the end of the visit. It is short because a clean does not stay a clean once a household lives in it, and we would rather come back than debate what happened over a week.
What happens
We book the return visit within one business day of hearing from you, at the first time that suits you. The same cleaner comes back where possible. Nothing is added to your bill for it.
Who decides
You do. There is no inspection, no supervisor visit, and no scoring. If you tell us a room was not right, that is the finding. We have no interest in a policy that makes you prove it.
If the return visit still misses
Then it is the match, not the room. We move you to a different cleaner for the next visit, or you stop — no contract, no fee, nothing to cancel.
What this does not cover
Work you did not book — add-ons and anything on the "not included" list — and damage or breakage, which has its own 48-hour route in our terms so it is handled properly rather than swept into a re-clean.

What we hold ourselves to

The same cleaner every visit

Franchises rotate whoever is available. Your cleaner learns which cabinet sticks and where the dog bowl goes.

Prices published, not quoted

Every rate we charge is on the pricing page. No in-home sales visit, no number that moves after you commit.

No contracts

Skip a week, change your frequency, or stop entirely. Nothing to cancel and no fee for doing it.

A local company, not a franchise

Two people in Columbus who answer their own phone. Not a call center routing you to a territory owner.

We are new, and we are not hiding it.

Wren opened in 2026. There is no wall of five-star reviews here because we have not earned one yet, and we are not going to invent any. What we have instead is a published price, a named cleaner before the first visit, and the guarantee above — all of which you can check before you pay us anything.
